Christmas Day Swim at

Shayna Beach  in

aid of Charity

The Catalkoy Christmas Swim for Charity will take place again this year at Shayna Beach in Catalkoy.  The charities which will benefit from the festive swim are Kyrenia Animal Rescue (KAR), North Cyprus Cancer Charity Trust (NCCCT) and the Special Needs School in Karakum.

The organisers, Barbara and Graham Fursman, are hoping to raise more than the fantastic 13,000TL that was raised from last year’s swim.  So far there are 14 swimmers but Barbara and Graham are hoping that more will join in.

The event will start at 10am on Christmas morning from the beach at Shayna and the swimmers will be splashed on their way in by the Catalkoy Mayor.

Spectators and supporters will be very welcome on Christmas morning – so please go along to watch or join in the fun.

Turkish and full English breakfasts will be on sale at Shayna Beach Club and Restaurant after the swim, with all proceeds being donated to the 3 charities.
