17^th April – Friday	Ladies Night at The Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak…. Exchange event with dinner…. To book contact Vicki on 0533 835 5133…
18^th April – Saturday	Happy Land School in Kyrenia will be having a Spring Fair in the school grounds between 10am and 5pm….Plenty of fun and activities for the children, stalls and also face painting by Zoe….The event is to raise funds for the Çağlayan Orphanage in Lefkoşa….Everyone welcome…
23^rd April – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 6.30pm you can enjoy Brigadoon (1954)…. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…
23^rd April –Thursday	St George’s Day and Children’s Party at Cafe George in Girne….11am ‘til late…..Music from 12noon to 6pm and from 6pm to 11.30pm music from Jamie (the Man in Black)…. Balloons, face painting, Phoenix Line Dancers and a visit from the Lady and Lad in Red to promote blood donor awareness…
23^rd April – Thursday	There will be an event at The Courtyard Inn, Karakum to celebrate St George’s Day….The evening starts at 7pm with a 2-course meal at 50TL and there will be entertainment from Gavin Simons….Take along a St George flag to wave and join in with the singing of Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory etc…..As it is also William Shakespeare’s birthday there will be a short excerpt from Henry V which should be very rousing…..
24^th April – Friday	The Black Olive Cafe will be holding their fun quiz….To book a place contact Vicki on 0533 835 5133…
25^th April – Saturday	Coffee Morning at Christa’s house in Karmi/Karaman (next to the Bronze Age Tombs) from 10.30am to 12.30pm…Donations of cakes or biscuits will be welcome….The event is in aid of the Cemetery Chapel restoration…..The Foreign Residents Karaman Village Cemetery Working Group…. 26^th April – Sunday	KAR “Paws in the Park” Dog Show and Spring Fayre at the Kyrenia Wednesday Market/Otobus Park starting at 10am….If you can give any help to KAR with bottles or cans of drinks for the Tombola stall, cakes and savouries to sell or ingredients for other people to do the baking, they would appreciate this…. End of April	KAR will be opening a new shop 2 doors away from their charity shop in Girne which will specialise in items of furniture, bric-a-brac, linens, household goods etc…. More information coming soon..

2^nd May – Saturday	Rotary Club Kyrenia St Hilarion will be holding a Grand Ball and Dinner at the Grand Pasha Hotel, Kyrenia…..
