birthday to all of us
Dear friends,
I once had a clock, and on it was written, “Time flies when you’re having fun.” This cannot be truer!
It has been one year since we started this group of friends with a
burgeoning interest in documenting our memories of our shared history, frozen in time. We began by posting and sharing stories, and then began to exchange deeply historical information, culturally rich content, pictures, videos, words.
Time has surely flown and one year on we’ve managed to keep it together without the ‘dark side’ of polarising politics dampening the bigger purpose of our online forum. We have all dealt with strongly political individuals, especially in this community, but it is our collective hard work that maintains our high standard of content, and keeps Frozen Cypriots as an even playing field and generally pleasant to share memories.
I am sure we have all been wrong in some cases – no one is perfect.
I hope you have enjoyed our forum and hope we can continue to enjoy it for years to come.
