By Margaret Sheard

We have been given information by the Children in Need Foundation (CiNF) of the latest in their long list of achievements to help the younger generation of North Cyprus and especially those less fortunate youngsters who attend Special Needs Schools.

Children in Need Foundation are pleased to announce the official opening of the new Woodwork Room facility at the Special Needs School sitChildren in need foundationed within the walled city part of Famagusta.

CiNF have been liaising with the School and its teachers for almost a year, following the refurbishment of the building by the Turkish Army personnel.

CiNF committee member John Torris has sourced 11,000TL worth of equipment on behalf of CiNF with which to equip the facility, down to screws and drill bits etc

The new facility will enable the children to make craft and household objects for sale locally. These funds will then be used to provide wood and materials to help keep the facility operational.

The facility will open at 11am on Thursday 13th of March.
