Doğanköy Community Association is born

After four years of constant hard work by various people, the authorities have finally granted ‘community status’ to the Doğanköy Community Association which will allow them to do many more things to raise money for the continued restoration and preservation of the Doğanköy Church and also helping the local community.

Forthcoming events will range from a coffee morning on the 23rd March, pre-Easter lunch at Al Shaheen on the 16th of April and another Anglo-Turkish art exhibition and we will bring you more news as it becomes available.

We are also pleased to share news of the following event which aims to raise money which will be shared by the Doğanköy Community Association and KAR .

Taner’s Terrace in Karakum, Girne

Join  us on Monday 3rd March 2014 at 19.00pm for an evening of music, film and general knowledge questions plus a raffle and a chance to win 500TL in bonus prizes.

Tickets cost 25TL including a meal.
