VOX POP tête-à-tête
By Engin Dervişağa
Recently I visited Colin and Josephine Mulcahy at their home in Upper Bellapais and close to Bitter Lemons, the house that had been owned by the famous author, Laurence Durrell,
I have known Colin since 2004 when he came came to North Cyprus after he had spent a lifetime working in the Foreign Diplomatic Service travelling the world to Africa, India and many more countries before coming to North Cyprus and after a period longer than previous assignments, he decided to settle down in the TRNC..
Josephine and Colin met whilst working in London, Josephine worked for the Commonwealth Office and Colin was with the Foreign Office. These two Offices eventually merged to become the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and that was when they met. They have two children, both boys and one lovely grand-daughter, Maisie. Although both sons are in the UK, one in London and the other in Sussex, Colin and Josephine try to get to see them as often as they can.
