GAU FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE TO

COMMENCE NEW ERA IN EDUCATION

The GAU Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts and the leading University of Turkey in Architecture and Engineering, Yıldız Technical University, have collaborated for an academic corporation protocol.

Common Faculties of both Universities will hold exchange programs for members of faculties and students, common programs, researches and academic activities thus providing more opportunities for the students in the field of Architecture.

The Dean of the GAU Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hossein Sadri, has stated that both universities have commenced a new era for student development.

Sadri recalling the exhibitions held in YTU during the last semester, which hosted the art works of GAU Architecture students, also emphasised that due to the protocol the Architecture students of YTU will have the chance to study in the overseas campuses of GAU and also the main campus and furthermore that GAU Architecture students will also have the opportunity to continue their studies in YTU Istanbul campus.

As well as common programs, various international activities will also be held in both campuses thus reinforcing student development. Sadri also confirmed that a great number of international conferences and workshops are planned for those who intend to seek new development in global architecture studies.
