Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay has participated in the “23rd Council of Ministers Meeting” of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), at which the TRNC is an observer member under the title of ‘Turkish Cypriot State’. The meeting has been organised in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
The Royal British Legion, Kyrenia Branch, is delighted to announce that the Band of The Security Forces Command (Güvenlik Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı Bandosu) will perform a one off concert on Monday 14th May at Bellapais Abbey in support of the 2018 Poppy Appeal.

I attended a celebration of World Arts Day with my husband Mehmet at the TRNC Presidential Palace on Sunday 15th April, which was a lovely night replete with delicious meze and drinks and entertainment by the Presidential Symphony Orchestra and surprise guest Zülfü Livaneli, singer, poet, author and politician who was asked to say a few words by President Akinci.
