By Roy Oswick …. After 10 wonderful years of living in the sun on the Island of Cyprus ill health finally dictated that we could no longer afford to pay for any further health treatments and we were reluctantly forced to return to the United Kingdom.
Retired ex Military Policeman, Prison Officer, and Detenton Centre Manager.
First came to Cyprus in 1958 as a National Serviceman and was posted to the C in C's Escort Section. i left the island in 1961 and did not return for more than 40 yrs. I now live in the village of Catalkoy and love it. prior to a nasty spell of ill health a couple of years ago I enjoyed playing golf and was one of the first to join the Korinium club. Sadly I can no longer play but I still enjoy living here in such a beautiful island.
