All Precautions Have Been Taken Against Bluetongue Disease
ISKELE AND VILLAGES SPRAYING TEAM STARTED FREE 3RD ROUND SPRAYING ACTIVITIES IN DAIRIES
İskele Municipality has taken all precautions against Bluetongue Disease, which is seen in our country but has not yet been found in İskele. İskele Municipality Spraying Unit started the 3rd round of spraying activities free of charge as of yesterday 1st October 2024 within the scope of dairy spraying that it regularly carries out every year.
The spraying, which started in the dairies in Tuzluca Village, will continue in Kalecik Village today, and the spraying process will be completed in all villages during October.
SPRAYING TEAM STARTED FREE 3RD ROUND SPRAYING ACTIVITIES IN DAIRIES IN ISKELE AND VILLAGES
İskele Municipality has taken precautions against Bluetongue Disease, which is a viral infectious disease that can occur especially in ruminant cattle and sheep such as cattle, sheep and goats, and the 3 spraying processes are carried out at certain periods during the year.
The spraying, which started in Tuzluca Village as of yesterday (October 1), will continue in Kalecik Village today. İskele Municipality Spraying Unit aims to complete the spraying works against Bluetongue Disease in İskele and 21 villages during October.
İskele Municipality also provided information flow to İskele and 21 village Mukhtar on the subject. In the statement, it was requested to contact the İskele Municipality very urgently in case of bluetongue disease appearing. The following was included in the statement:
“Dear Mukhtars, although bluetongue disease has not yet been seen in our region, we have taken all our precautions. Our spraying team has started the 3rd round of spraying work in dairies as of yesterday 1st October. Dairy spraying, which started yesterday in Tuzluca Village, will continue today in Kalecik Village. In October, the spraying of dairies in all villages will be completed. We kindly ask you to contact us in case of detection of bluetongue disease in the villages.”
