The Taming of The Shrew

“The Taming of the Shrew” performed at   ‘Girne Arkın Group Fest24.

‘The Istanbul State Theatre’s production of ‘The Taming of the Shrew’ received widespread acclaim. Written by William Shakespeare and directed by Yücel Erten, the play was attended by approximately 2,500 people. The Istanbul State Theatres’ performance of ‘The Taming of the Shrew’ took place at 9:00 PM at the Girne Amphitheatre. At the end of the evening, Girne Municipal Council Members Ali Tektan and Mete Ünal Girgen presented flowers and plaques to the actors.

September 5 – 6 – 7 Events

The first event on September 5 was the ‘Give or Take’ dance performance at 7:30 PM at the Liman Merkez Stage. Followed, at 8:30 PM at the same venue, by Gizem Akbil and her Orchestra. The festival continued with a concert by Melek Mosso on September 6 and will close with the ‘Vintage Bazaar’ at Girne Ramadan Cemil Square on September 7.
