“RIVERS IN THE OCEAN” New ARUCAD Book

ARUCAD Press has published its seventh book, “Rivers In The Ocean”.

The book, published by ARUCAD Press, flows from the exhibition “Rivers in the Ocean,” which met with art enthusiasts last February at Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design’s (ARUCAD) Art Space, in Nicosia. This book is the seventh publication by ARUCAD Press.

The “Rivers in the Ocean” exhibition, comprised multimedia works by Alev Adil and Aslı Bolayır and selected by ARUCAD Faculty of Art Lecturer Asst. Prof. Dr. Esra Plümer Bardak.  It was simultaneously opened in ARUCAD Art Space in the north of Nicosia and Korai Project Space in the south. Displayed in two different venues, this unique selection offered viewers a parallel and complementary art experience. Themes such as global issues, contrasts between localities, and the ontological and metaphysical aspects of water currents were explored in the exhibition.

The “Rivers in the Ocean” book follows the themes addressed in the exhibition and includes photographs of the works, and essays by curator Asst. Prof. Dr. Esra Plümer Bardak and artists Alev Adil and Aslı Bolayır. Designed by ARUCAD Art and Culture Coordinator, Oya Silbery, the book delves deeply into the themes presented in the exhibition, offering readers a comprehensive perspective.

The book, which is the seventh publication of ARUCAD Press, can be obtained from ARUCAD Art Space and Art Rooms Gallery.
