Back Swimming at Paradise Holiday Bungalows

Way back in 2019, I had an operation at Dr Suat Gűnsel, University of Kyrenia Hospital in Karakum carried out by Neuro and Spinal Surgeon, Prof. Dr. Halil Ibrahim Seҫer.

That was a major operation and taking Dr Halil’s advice to start swimming, before the proposed operation, to enhance the recovery process I would like to thank the Dervis family of Paradise Holiday Bungalows, Çatalköy who encouraged me to swim most days in their swimming pool for around five weeks and I think the benefit of this mental and physical conditioning before the operation became apparent to me as my recovery continued.

So here we are in 2014 being thankful for a good life but feeling something is missing and like so many times before, I went back to see my good friends at Paradise Holiday Bungalows, Çatalköy, and when I was talking to Mustafa Dervis, the subject of my past swimming came up and he said, it did you well before so call by again and have a swim and hopefully it will do you some more good.

So here am I in the heat of the sun resting in the shade after another swimming session feeling the aches but knowing my body and mind are benefiting from my efforts.

If that was not good enough, then it is so enjoyable to see all of the plants and tiny dragonflies around the pool and the splendid plants being grown by Mustafa’s mum in the front reception area before chatting about so many different things to Mustafa’s mum and dad and brother Engin when he calls by for a visit.
