Leymosun Reunion Held At The Girne Ancient Harbour
The 9th traditional Leymosun Reunion, organized by the Leymosun Cultural Foundation with contributions from the Girne Municipality, took place at the Girne Ancient Harbour on Wednesday, July 31st, at 18:00pm.
At the opening of the celebration, speeches were given by Yücem Rasımoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Leymosun Cultural Foundation, and Murat Şenkul, Mayor of Girne. Throughout the event, food and beverage stands featuring special Leymosun products and handicraft stands served the visitors.
The Lefkoşa Folklore Association presented a folk dance show, and Grup Otantik entertained visitors with Cypriot tunes, providing a night full of fun. The evening concluded with the traditional lottery of the Leymosun Cultural Foundation.
