Thank you, Mutlu at Sarıcell for mending my mobile phone.

Can you imagine the impact when you manage to damage your phone and are unable to contact anybody or contacts reach you. When you are running the CyprusScene.com website and its online e-newspaper it’s a bit of a disaster.

So what do you do buy a new Telephone or have the damaged phone repaired?

When I bought my current damaged phone, when the supplier prepared it for me by copying over data from a previous telephone they lost all my WhatsApp contacts and data so this was uppermost in my mind even though I have it on my pc.

A good friend of mine said she would take me to her friend who she has been dealing with for years who repairs telephones or sells them plus repairs laptops as well.

So off we went to meet Mutlu Çolak in his shop in Canbolat Caddesi, Liman Casino Sokaĝi, Girne and after looking at my phone, through my friend in Turkish he explained what he could do to repair it and gave me an estimate.

In the event, we were both able to communicate through WhatsApp (I have it on my pc) using Google translate and he advised me that apart from having to replace the screen there was another damaged part he would need to replace at a modest additional cost to which I agreed.

So the following day to save me the journey into Girne, Mutlu arranged to meet me after working hours close to my home in Ozankoy where he bought me my telephone which is now working perfectly and I will make sure I don’t damage it again.
