4 Plays Presented On 27th World Theatre Day In Girne

To celebrate the 27th World Theatre Day, on 27th March, Girne Municipality Theatre Groups presented four different plays. The curtain opened at 10:00 am with two plays by Girne Municipality Theatre Groups, one play each by Folklore and Youth Center (FOGEM) and Girne Theater Su.

Plays presented on 27th World Theatre Day

Throughout the day, as part of the events, Girne Municipality Theatre Groups’ children’s play titled ‘Between Reality and Dream’ met the audience at 10:00 and 11:15 in Girne Municipality Chamber Theatre.

Then, at 8:00 pm, ‘Shakespeare’s Ghost’, staged by Girne Municipality Theatre Groups, will be performed at Girne Municipality Chamber Theatre.

At 10:00 pm, Girne Theatre Su’s play ‘Pygmalion: A Democracy Musical’ will meet the audience at Girne Municipality Chamber Theatre.

Also at 8pm Girne American University Spectrum Hall will present the play ‘Alikko and Caher’ staged by Folklore and Youth Center (FOGEM).
