On 4th April 2024 there is a wonderful opportunity to attend a full days Introductory Bee keeping course at Almond Holiday Village in Alsancak. The course is free!
The course is being organised by the warm and friendly Aşik family who own the Almond Holiday Village. Ahmet Aşik has been making Bee-Hives and looking after bees for a number of years and has a wealth of knowledge.
Speakers at the event will be Jilly Ellson from the Chalfont Beekeeper’s Society in UK and Tony Davenport from Cyprus. Full details of the course schedule can be found on the Almond Holiday Village Facebook page.
This day will begin at 9.30am in the beautiful grounds of the Almond Holiday Village. The training is expected to finish by 3.30pm. If travelling from afar then it will be a good idea to book an overnight stay at this lovely hotel and this will give you an opportunity to explore the local area after the course.
