We recently received and published a reader’s mail from A.A. Wisley in which he went into great detail suggesting the so-called Republic of Cyprus did not exist. He repeated that the British High Commissioner to “Cyprus”, Irfan Siddiq, publicly said, on 27th July 2023, that the 1960 Constitution no longer exists so A.A. Wisley concluded, that neither could the RoC click here.
Naturally, this article created a lot of attention and comments on social media pages where it had been shared and we received a further communication from MICHAEL STEPHEN who was a Member of the United Kingdom Parliament 1992-97. He is a Barrister and International Lawyer and a Member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House). Mr Stephen wrote an in-depth analysis of the Cyprus Problem and published this as a book named THE CYPRUS QUESTION and having read our article “The Republic Of Cyprus Does Not Exist!” said “Yes you are Right” and has provided a PDF file of his book which our readers can read and download. This book makes it very clear that the so-called Republic of Cyprus should not have been recognised by the international community.

Yes, south Cyprus should be removed from the UN & the EU. Furthermore, they should stop using the present flag! It belongs to all Cypriots & not just the Greeks.
This is a brilliant and very thorough report on the historical events that has led to the removal of the Turkish Cypriots human rights and years of suffering from unfair embargoes, it’s a must read for all MPs in the U.K. and senators in the US to give them a true picture of events !
The UN now needs to act to resolve this tremendous injustice !
The International Community should take note and no longer RECOGNISE “The republic of cyprus” it is an Illegal and non-existent state and to keep on Recognising it should be considered a Criminal Act.
I would like to know Stephen Days opinion on the matter !
