The National and public libraries of the Cultural Department will welcome medical doctors on Thursdays throughout March. Under the title “Breezes of the Mediterranean Thursday Chats: Gratitude to Our Medical Doctors,” our country’s retired medical doctors will be our guests. The Cultural Department, affiliated with the Ministry of Deputy Prime Ministry, Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, initiated the “Breezes of the Mediterranean Thursday Chats” in June 2022 with the aim of making libraries a gathering place. In March, medical doctors will be the guests.
The National Library in Nicosia, along with the public libraries in Girne, Güzelyurt, Gazimağusa, İskele, Akdoğan, Mehmetçik, Değirmenlik, and Yenierenköy, operating under the umbrella of the Cultural Department, will host medical doctors in chat sessions titled “Gratitude to Our Medical Doctors” on Thursdays, starting from March 7, 2024, and continuing on March 14, 21, and 28, 2024.
Program
Under the title “Gratitude to Our Medical Doctors,” open chat sessions on various topics will be held in all libraries and the program will be announced in the coming days. Retired medical doctors who have dedicated years to our country will share their memories and experiences.
