New Children’s Play “Between Reality and Dream”

Girne Municipality Chamber Theatre will stage the children’s play ‘Between Reality and Dream,’ written and directed by Ismihan Yorgancı, on the Saturdays February 3, 10, and 17, at 14:00. While rehearsing on the theatre stage, the actors discover plans by a wealthy businessman to buy and demolish the theatre building to build a shopping mall. The actors argue that the building is not only for themselves but also for the public, advocating for the addition of a theatre within the shopping mall. The story emphasizes the importance of preserving the value of what one possesses which creates a change in the heart of the wealthy man with the result that the theatre building remained untouched.
