An agreement was recently signed on the facilitation of the industrial investments to be made in the TRNC by citizens of the Republic of Türkiye and the Turkish companies.
This was established in compliance with the relevant laws of the Republic of Türkiye and signed between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the government of the Republic of Türkiye.
The agreement was signed between Olgun Amcaoğlu, the Minister of Economy and Energy of TRNC, and Mehmet Fatih Kacır, the Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye.
The agreement aims to open up investment areas, to ensure the facilitation of investment to investors coming from Türkiye to the TRNC and to overcome the differences between investors in Türkiye and the TRNC.
