Minister of Public Works and Transportation Tolga Atakan said that following the intensive demand of the people of the region, together with maintenance and repair of the Vadili-İnönü road, the Akdoğan, Paşaköy, Turunçlu and Türkmenköy roads will be repaired and ready for winter.
Minister Tolga Atakan and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kudret Özersay visited Vadili Municipality and met with the Mayor of Vadili, Mehmet Adahan, Inonu Mayor, Ali Oncu, and with citizens, and listened to the demands in respect of the Vadili-Inonu road and other issues.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kudret Özersay, shared information on his social media account about the visit, especially regarding the students going to schools and using the Vadili-İnönü road. Urgent work will be started in this direction Tolga Atakan stated.
Director of Highways Department Serhan Kazmacı and Head of Highways Department Famagusta Branch Niyazi Ünlütürk spoke during the visit, and Minister Atakan confirmed urgent roads in the region to improve the flow of resources necessary will start this week,
The 2020 budget will start with the Paşaköy-Türkmenköy route and Lefkoşa-Türkmenköy route, the resources for this are reserved. Atakan stated that, weather permitting, firstly repairs will be carried out on the Vadili-İnönü road, followed by other roads in the region, and they plan to finish before winter.
