Lute thanks Akıncı for being committed to a constructive effort

UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy Jane Holl Lute thanked President Mustafa Akıncı for being committed to the effort for finding a constructive way in which to improve solving the Cyprus problem.

Presidential Spokesperson Barış Burcu stated that in her letter to President Akıncı, Special Envoy Lute expressed her wish to meet with Akıncı in the near future.

Burcu said that in her letter to Akıncı Lute wrote : “I thank you again for your constructive effort”.

  1. Praising when due is a noble act, and it should be welcomed with appropriate manner.
    At the same time the one that can’t be praised should be informed in a suitable manner and be made aware of the failings on their part.
    The main problem with the atrocious continuity of this failure can only be accounted by yourself and every other is that the other party has nothing to loose by this continues failings to reach an agreement.
    The only way forward can only be achieved is to inform the other party that in next occasions that an agreement is not reached at the next meeting, The North Cyprus Republic shall be recognised as a official separate State within its present boundaries, by UN.
