1^st August – Thursday	KAR will be holding their first art exhibition at The Fez, Catalkoy from 4pm. Invitations only which are available from the KAR office or Lambousa Saturday Market.

13^th August – Tuesday	Tulips will be holding a Fashion Show with a difference (all the models are cancer survivors) at The Oasis Hotel (from Ozankoy/Bellapais roundabout 500m on Bellapais Road). The events starts at 6pm and is 20TL per person (including soft drink on arrival). There will be an auction by Karl Rugg and entertainment by Katie B. Quality ladies casual and evening dresses will be modelled which will be available for sale. There is a 3 option menu for 50TL per person (chicken, fish, vegetarian) and a pre-order voucher will be given with ticket.

2nd September – Monday	RBL Kyrenia Branch has arranged an escorted tour of the Taskent Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre and Panayia Absinthiotissa Monstery. The Wildlife Centre is the only one of its kind in the whole of Cyprus and the Monastery dates back to Byzantine times. The trip (includes transport, lunch and a donation to the Wildlife Centre) will cost 140tl for Members and 150tl for Non-Members and leaves Karsiyaka Square at 8am – picking up along the route in the usual places, plus Lemar Karakum car park . 14^th September – Saturday	Queen tribute with Killer Queen at the Girne Amphitheatre which will be in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). Tickets £25 per person. Reserved tickets are now available from Best Seller Bookshops in Karakum and Alsancak, George Cafe Girne, Blakes Lounge Bar & Bistro, Alsancak.
27th/29^th September Friday/Saturday	The Soulist Coffee and Music House, Alsancak are preparing a Friends Across Borders event with bands from south and north Cyprus and possibly Germany. This will be a great live music event. More information to follow.
