The Minister of Tourism and Environment Ünal Üstel received members of the Board of Directors of Kamu-Sen.
During his visit, Metin Atan, President of the Turkish Cypriot Public Officials Union (Kamu-Sen), wished Minister Üstel success in his new position.
Stating that tourism is one of the three sectors that bring income to the country’s economy, Atan stressed that the Minister, who carried out the same duty in previous years, is aware of the issues. He added that there is a need for some changes in the organisational law, and the desire to work in cooperation in the new period.
Unal Ustel, Minister of Tourism and Environment, expressed his satisfaction with the visit of Kamu-Sen and stated that they are dealing with the task which aims to complete projects for the benefit of the public.
He added that 2019 is not very good in terms of economy for our country but studies are being carried out and they are working to make the year 2020 better for both our country and tourism. Stating that they have decided to act together with tourism stakeholders and non-governmental organizations to achieve goals, Üstel said that with cooperation they will produce solutions to the problems.
