A Turkish language course was completed by 31 foreign students studying at Anafartalar High School, 19 May Turkish Maarif College and Oguz Veli Middle School, which was organised by Girne Municipality and Girne Youth and Development Centre in cooperation with the schools.
The courses were given by the teacher Şehnaz Nadiri. The aim is to improve the writing of foreign students by speaking Turkish and to contribute to their education and life at school.
Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü said in a statement on the subject that many foreigners live in Girne and the project was carried out to ensure that students studying at school have the opportunity to adapt to the country.
