Erdoğan: “We will continue to take steps in the Eastern Mediterranean”

Turkish President and President of Justice and Development Party, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, gave a speech at the Turkish Grand National Assembly meeting

and said that they will continue to take steps in the Eastern Mediterranean with determination until provision is made for the just sharing of all natural resources which have been, and will be, found in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Stressing that they will never allow the initiatives which ignore the rights and interests of Turkey and Turkish Cypriots in this region he said: “we defend from the beginning that our cognates in this region also have rights in the natural gas and our thesis has always been that Turkish Cypriot authorities should be involved in detection and investigation.
