Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay received the President for Turks Abroad and Related Communities Abdullah Eren. During the meeting, they exchanged views to increase cooperation in different fields including the project for the Turkish Cypriots living abroad executed by the TRNC Deputy Prime Ministry and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this context, the steps to be taken mutually in the near future were also discussed.
The 448th establishment anniversary of Cyprus Foundation Administration and 63rd anniversary of the transfer of the Foundation Administration from British to the Turkish Cypriot Community are being celebrated with activities.
Within the framework of the celebration programme, a ceremony was organized with the participation of the personnel of the association.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay sent a letter to the French Foreign Minister regarding the fire which broke out at Notre Dame Cathedral last night (15th April) and has caused much destruction.
In his letter, expressing his deep sorrow for the fire which has severely damaged one of the most important symbols of the history and worship places of millions of people in the world, Özersay conveyed support and solidarity for France on behalf of the TRNC government.
