Akıncı met with US Congress Members
President Mustafa Akıncı met with a delegation of the US Senate and House of Representatives members under the Chairmanship of the US Senator from Mississippi and Head of US Congress Helsinki Commission Roger Wicker.
At the meeting, which took place at the TRNC Presidency, President Akıncı and the delegation discussed the latest stage reached in the Cyprus Problem and exchanged opinions on the confidence building measures. The Turkish Cypriot side’s views and thoughts were conveyed to the delegation composed of Bob Casey, Martin Heinrich, Tom Udall, Mike Lee, Chris Van Hollen, Lloyd Doggett, Robert Aderholt, Gwen Moore and Lee Zeldin who are all Senators and members of the US House of Representatives.
