The Eastern Mediterranean University  is hosting the International ‘Unusual Message’ art project. The exhibition includes works of about 70 artists, who are also academicians, from the universities of 12 different countries. The ‘Unusual Message’ Exhibition was launched on 18th December  2018, at the  Department of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design Exhibition Hall.

According to the information provided by the University about the scope of the project,  10 objects were chosen and sent to universities. Artist/designer academicians from each institution came together in groups of six and chose an object to work on and their pieces. The artists shaped the pieces with new ideas; they gave them new fantastical and surreal meanings and stories.

International ‘Unusual Message’ Exhibition will meet different audiences as a printed catalogue by EMU. In the world’s different continents and countries, the ‘Unusual Message’ art project will meet art lovers from all corners of the world in consecutive events during the 2018 – 2019 Academic Year.
