Under the ‘Care for the Elderly’ project, Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School organised a visit to the Özen Elderly Home.
According to the press release of the University, the students had the opportunity to converse, observe and take photographs with the residents of the center. Also, the students and their lecturers acquired information from the Özen Elderly Home staff about life at the center.
Many of the students said that they were happy to have visited an elderly home for the first time in their lives and from now on, they wanted to carry out these visits regularly.
