News has been received throughout the week from the KAR office and from their Facebook page and this is shown below.
The KAR Christmas Bazaar is being held on Saturday 8th December at the Pia Bella Hotel, Girne and if you can help the following would be much appreciated.
If you like baking and would like to contribute cakes, mince pies, pastries etc. this would be great. Please pledge your interest in supplying items for the cake stall.
There will be a Tombola and prizes are needed for this as well, so if you have any unwanted items sitting in your cupboards KAR would be delighted to take them off your hands so please deliver them to the KAR office, marked for the Tombola.
Donations of luxury non-perishable items are being sought to make up a hamper, which will then be included in the Grand Christmas Draw. Tickets on sale at 5TL each from the following outlets : No1 Shop – Girne, House and Home – Girne, Rescue Centre – Arapkoy, Lambousa Market (Saturday) – Lapta, Office/GladRags – Karakum.
Lambsy needed a little pampering after her long journey to New York. She thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon at the Doggy Day Spa – but it was such hard work that the pampered princess just had to relax and chill out with her new bestie Trevor!
Well, it didn’t take long for Coco to find her forever home in the USA! Here she is with her new family – we received this message – “This Coco is such a perfect dog. It was mutual love at first sight!! ” As you can see Coco has taken a liking to her new family and those oh so lovely home comforts!
There will be more news coming next week of the other dogs being re-homed in the USA.
