On the way home last night, Thursday 13th September, we called by at Tim’s Cafe and Bar, Ozankoy to see what was happening on their second Soul and Blues Night and were amazed to see huge crowd sitting outside on their patio area which had fast expanded with tables and chairs being borrowed from other businesses nearby to seat even more guests that were arriving.
The amazing Bex Marshall together with Karl Dixon (direct from BB King’s Jazz Club, New York), Mark Harrison (recently arrived from Phoenix, Arizona) were in full swing and were entertaining the guests with many old favourites and more.
As usual we were welcomed by Tim and other staff with warm smiles and asked to join them but sadly work beckoned and we were soon on our way after speaking to a few friends and taking a few photos for this article so, as it seemed like a great night, perhaps we will plan to take time out and go back very soon..
