Asst. Prof. Dr. Nalan Sınay, Lecturer of the Department of Radio and Television, Faculty of Communication, Cyprus International University (CIU), recommended the top ten films to watch at home.

Dr. Sınay said that we can spend the hottest days of the summer watching movies in a cool environment at home.  She quoted Tomris Uyar “Let’s live the summer full of books, movies, and music so that our conversations throughout the winter never end … our words to say, our places to go and our many feelings to be experienced.”

Sinay, who gave information about the movies, evaluated Pablo Escobar as a modern Robin Hood and she said that the costume designs of Victoria and Abdul Filmin were remarkable.

Dr. Sinay said “If a woman can be burnt for the sake of books, there must be something in the books, pointing out that Fahrenheit 451 is thought-provoking.

Sinay said with the motto “the heart pumps the truth” Professor Marston invented the lie machine in the 1930s, while we were watching the unusual story of him and his wife, we will have fun spending this summer filled with joy.   Dr. Sinay said films do not belong only to those who created them, but that ” Films belong to those who need them.”
