Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu arrived in the TRNC for a working visit.
Çavuşoğlu was greeted by Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Derya Kanbay, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay and other officials at Ercan Airport.
President Mustafa Akıncı and Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu had a one-hour long meeting privately and then a meeting was held with the participation of the delegations. President Akıncı and Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu came together with the leaders and representatives of political parties represented in the TRNC Assembly this morning (24th July).
