President Erdoğan speaks out at Chatham House

In a speech at Chatham House Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan commented on the Cyprus issue.

“The Turkish Cypriot side has endeavoured for peace with the support of Turkey for half a century. On the other hand, the Greek Cypriot side has not come forward to establish a partnership on the basis of political equality. If the Greek Cypriot side insists on continuing its unilateral hydrocarbon activities in the Eastern Mediterranean, security and stability will be continuously in danger,” Erdoğan said.

  1. The only two solutions left would be either a Chec Republic and Slovenia type divotse or the alternative sudgested by the Orthodox Church, Partision in both Senarios with the Larnaca main road to the Sea as the Natural border. This would partly compensate for the Embargo’s and the benefits that they kept to themselves over the past Half Century.
