Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman has been received by Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım with an official ceremony at Çankaya Palace on his first official visit to Turkey.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State in Charge of Cyprus Affairs Recep Akdağ, Ambassador of the TRNC to Ankara Fazıl Can Korkut, Turkish Prime Ministry Undersecretary Fuat Oktay, and Undersecretary of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ümit Yalçın, alongside other officials were also present at the ceremony.

A lunch in honour of Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman will be hosted by the Turkish Prime Minister Yıldırım at the Cankaya Palace following bilateral and inter-delegation meetings.

At the meetings, the latest developments regarding the Cyprus issue will be discussed, as well as relations between Turkey and the TRNC, and possible ways to develop and move these relations forward.
