President Mustafa Akıncı has received renowned chef Zihni Türksel, who recently beat 76 other competitors to win an Azerbaijan gastronomy competition in which 22 national cuisines and 55 regional cuisines participated.
Türksel, who won the gold medal and cup at the competition in Azerbaijan, said that he was also a juror at the international gastronomy contest held in Macedonia. Stating that the World Islamic Culinary Arts Federation will soon be established, Türksel confirmed that North Cyprus will be represented in this federation as well.
