Earlier in the year we visited and wrote about Blakes Lounge Bar and Bistro in Alsancak which opened back in December 2016 and since then it has become a very popular place to meet friends for a meal or for a drink with just a little background music so people can chat.
There are weekly entertainment nights when jazz/blues music is provided by some of the well-known entertainers in the North and again these evenings are very popular.
We recently heard from Delia that they have now produced the new winter menu which will be available from October – Wednesday to Saturday and a special promotion is being offered of a bottle of house wine for bookings of 4 people for the month of October, (not valid on entertainment nights). On 6th October, Blakes will be presenting Let Me Entertain You featuring Gary Pearce aka ‘Gazza’ who will be treating the audience to Country, Rock, Pop and Swing, from 8.30pm.
There will be a 3-course set meal for 70TL and it is essential that bookings are made by calling 0548 839 4007. Unfortunately, guests will not be able to benefit from the promotion on this occasion but it is bound to be a great night with good food and entertainment.
