We were interested to learn that the Anglo Turkish Association (ATA) are to hold an event at the Eziç Premier Restaurant , Girne in the downstairs restaurant on Tuesday 18th October at 11.00 am for 11.30 am start that will feature a talk by Angela Brooks entitled:

Heading Home – Adventures in a camper van between homes in North Cyprus and the UK.

We understand that in the last decade Angela and her husband have made three return trips between the two countries using different routes and taking a month over each journey. Angela will give an account of the thrills and spills of these journeys in countries which were often new to them, navigating their way without the use of satnav and being unable to speak the language.

This sounds like a great talk of many experiences and for local readers who would like to attend the cost will be: Members 20TL and Non-Members 25TL (This does not include food or drinks)
