We were delighted to learn that local musician and entertainer, Jamie, The Man In Black, helped send children from the Special Needs School in Karakum to the Karşiyaka petting farm on Monday 23rd May and this is what he had to say.
“As you may be aware, my last two ‘Live Music’ Quizzes at The SeAngle Bar in Çatalköy were to raise funds to send the Children 
who attend the special needs School in Karakum to the animal petting farm in Karşiyaka for the day,
This visit took place today. Along with the funds raised by the bar’s customers at the quizzes (over 700tl) Billy Davis and friends also collected 400tl and another 500tl was also donated.
The children had a great time as did our group who accompanied them. Sorry I could not be there, but Mrs (Man in Black) Teresa attended on my behalf and she told me a great day was had by all”.
