British Residents' Society Rauf Denktas Award to Tulips

Last year the British Residents Society created an award called the Rauf Denktas Award (an inscribed silver tray) their aim is to present this award each year to a Turkish Cypriot for outstanding achievement to the British expat community.

This year the BRS committee, at their AGM held at the Pia Bella Hotel, Girne on Saturday 23^rd April, elected to present this award to Tulips/Help Those with Cancer Association. Raziye Kocaismail, Chairperson of Tulips/HTWCA proudly received the award from Mr Taner Erginel, last year’s holder of the silver tray, to a standing ovation from the BRS committee and members.
