Jamie and Friends

at The SeAngle Bar, Catalkoy

The SeAngle Bar in Catalkoy was buzzing on Tuesday 26^th January, with not a spare seat to be found, for the Jamie & Friends evening which is always a popular event. This week Jamie was joined by his Agency colleague Col Coleman, they had never performed together before and they worked so well as a duo with guitar sessions and songs.

The main theme of the evening is for members of the public to join Jamie and show the audience what they can do and we were not disappointed with the performances of Billy, Peter & Mike and John & Chris, who gave us music and songs we all love from our earlier days which were very enjoyable.

It was a very cold evening, as we were experiencing a very cold snap in Cyprus at the time, but inside the SeAngle it was warm and cosy with an intimate atmosphere and everyone enjoyed the evening. The audience were listening to the music which was a refreshing change to that experienced in restaurants where people are eating and talking and taking very little notice of the entertainer until perhaps later in the evening when they get up to dance.

It was the first time we had attended a Jamie & Friends event and we were well impressed.

We weren’t able to stay until the end of the evening but understand there were other performances from Dave and Sean who sang solo and Teresa, Jamie’s wife, sang a duet with Billy. We are sorry we missed them, but maybe next time.
