Jimmy’s Bar-B-Q opens and helps Tulips‏

We have just received the following great news from Carol King and Sue Tilt of Tulips – Help Those With Cancer Association of the highly successful grand opening of Jimmy’s Bar-B-Q Bar in Alsancak and their fund raising in aid of Tulips. Congratulations to everybody for a great start to 2016.

“Yvonne and Osman Saffetoglu held their Bar Opening and 1st wedding anniversary celebrations in aid of Tulips/HTWCA on Saturday 9th January.

The event was extremely well supported with anything up to 100 attending at any one time. Family and friends enjoyed the music provided by DJ Pete Murray and a complimentary buffet provided by Yvonne and Osman.

Martina Cole attended to sign a copy of her new book which was later part of the raffle draw, our thanks go to her and all the other providers of the raffle prizes and to everyone that bought raffle tickets.

Our sincere thanks go to Yvonne and Osman for raising a fabulous 835 TL on the raffle, we would also like to say a special thanks to Susan Fernley and Charlotte Webb who without a doubt worked very hard throughout the day and evening and to DJ Pete Murray who provided his time for free, once again, in support of Tulips.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Yvonne and Osman on their wedding anniversary and wish them both every success in their new venture.
