Tulips “Pink October” Event

Ladies Bowling and Fun Night

By Sue Tilt and Carole King….

‘Pink October’ – Breast Cancer Awareness Month ran over into November this year with the Ladies Bowling and Fun night falling on 23rd November.  The event was completely sold out and it proved to be a great fun night for all!

The bowling was a huge success with everyone entering into the spirit of the night.  This was won by Jan Cobbing and the runner up was Ann Workman.

The meal put on by Kings Bowling was really good and gave everyone the energy to get up and dance the night away to Katie B, singing some fabulous songs.

We would like to thank lots of people for making the night so successful: Nurcan Hanim, Hasan Bey and all the staff of Kings Bowling who looked after us all so well, Katie B who once again offered her services for free for Breast Cancer Awareness and provided us with raffle prizes, all our sponsors, listed below, who generously provided prizes for the bowling competition and the raffle and of course to everyone who came along and supported this fabulous evening.

We say this often but we really do mean it, without your support these events simply would not be the success they are, so a huge thank you to all concerned.
