CiNF, CESV and Little Society of Kyrenia
lend a hand to help Tulips
We have received the following information from Laurence Floyd of CiNF and the other associations which have contributed to resolving the problem being experienced by Tulips. Well done to all.
To paraphrase the great Martin Luther King…’I have a dream’..well, if not a dream, then it has been the desire of Mally Torris of CiNF and John Graham of the Little Society of Kyrenia (LSOK) to see more co-operation between the leading charities here in the TRNC
We at CiNF have enjoyed a number of co-operative activities to the benefit of a Special Needs School in the Karpaz working with Steve Collard of the CESV and Mary Watson with her LSOK hat on, and I am pleased to announce that once again we have agreed to work together to assist resolve an urgent need of Tulips
Whilst at a meeting at the Tulips School of Hope with Steve Collard and Mary and Art Watson, the founding head of Tulips, Raziye, made mention that a company had donated a car for use by the team of carers and nurses who attend cancer sufferers and their families who are undergoing treatment at their homes – however, the Government advised Tulips that they would be required to pay 6,000TL tax on the vehicle before the Government would allow them to use it….
I am pleased to advise that the 3 Charities put their heads together, liaised, and that we will collectively provide the 6,000TL to Tulips next week. Co-operation in action.
