Girne Municipality has initiated home physiotherapy services for bedridden patients for the first time. The project announced by the Social Affairs Branch Directorate of Girne Municipality aims to provide on-site treatment for bedridden patients living within the boundaries of Girne Municipality.
The project, which started on May 8th, is to provide better and on-site services to bedridden patients. According to the statement made by the Social Affairs Branch Directorate of Girne Municipality, applications for treatment, to be carried out by Physiotherapist Muhammet Erol, can be made by calling 0392 650 01 00 (extension 1555).
Requirement To Benefit From Home Physiotherapy Services
- The patient must reside within the boundaries of Girne Municipality.
- The patient’s doctor reports must be complete.
- The patient must have suitability reports for home treatment in the reports of the Specialist Physician and Physical Therapy Physician.
- The patient must be bedridden or have mobility limitations.
- The patient must receive social assistance or have low income and be unable to receive necessary treatment.
- The patient must have limitations regarding transportation to the hospital and treatment.
After the applications are received, the reports from the inspections to be conducted by the On-Site Physiotherapy and Social Affairs Personnel affiliated with the municipality must match the information provided by the patient.
