Note	The RBL stall at Lambousa Saturday market will be closed from 2^nd August, re-opening on 6^th September…
27^th August to 24^th September – every Wednesday	9pm at the Goethe Institute (Ledra Palace). A program of German films with English sub-titles. Admission is free…. Cold drinks and snacks will be available at reasonable prices….For more information contact +357 226 746 08 or sbpo@nikosia.goethe.org
5^th to 8^th September – Friday to Monday…. Change of Venue from previous notification.	Richard Chamberlain will be holding an exhibition of his photographs at the Raif Denktas Culture and Congress Centre in Famagusta… The Mayor of Famagusta will officially open the exhibition at 7.30pm on the 5^th September… The exhibition will be open from 10am to 5pm each day….. A chance to see Richard’s wonderful photography on display….
6^th September – Saturday	Black Olive Cafe – from 3.30pm….. Country old and new with Col Coleman… There will be food available…To book contact Vicki on 0533 835 5133 or email theblackolivecafe@gmail.com….
7^th September – Sunday	There will be a Whirling Dervish Night at Bellapais Abbey starting at 8.30pm in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips)…. 10TL entrance fee… Tickets are available from the Tulips stall at Lambousa Saturday market or at the door on the night….
8th September – Monday	RBL Quiz Night at 7pm – Deniz Kizi Hotel.
9th September – Tuesday	RBL Last Night of the Proms in the Park starting at 7pm at The Wild Duck in Lapta…. Bring your own food and drinks as cafe will be closed…. Last Night of the Proms on a big screen…. Members 10TL, non-members 15TL…For further information call Pamela Padden on 0533 873 6876.
9^th September – Tuesday	NCCCT Coffee Morning resume…. The first after the summer break will be at The Lodge in Catalkoy starting at 10.30am.
9^th September – Tuesday	St Andrew’s Church Hall – Menmeet at 11am…. There will be a talk by John Hughes-Wilson entitled “Mysteries of World War 1”…. All men welcome.
Date correction. This should be 17th September ~~10^th September –~~ Wednesday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be resuming their Afternoon Tea Talks at the Mountain View Hotel at 3pm…. The speaker will be Bill Hayley talking about his experiences on the Royal Yacht Britannia….12TL will include tea/coffee, sandwiches and cakes.,.To book please contact Jenny on 0533 876 1483 or Brenda on 0533 840 7834..
10^th September – Wednesday	The KAR raffle will be drawn at the Pia Bella Hotel at 5pm…. Refreshments will be available… There is still a chance to purchase raffle tickets at 5TL each…
11^th September – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy Back to the Future (1985) …12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…
16^th September – Tuesday	“Wave Rave” – Pirate themed boat trip on The African Queen setting sail from Girne Harbour at 3pm returning around 9pm….Meal with meze, salad and fruit. £20 per adult, £12.50 under 14’s and free for under 5’s…. There will be discounted drinks available…Music, karaoke, quiz, raffle and disco and prize for best dressed pirate….Places limited to 70 pirates so booking needs to be arranged by calling Art on 0533 861 4873, Brian on 0533 833 3468 or boat owner Mr T on 0542 877 0516.This event is the first of the 2015 Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble in aid of Tulips.
18^th September – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy The Ladykillers (1955) …12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…
19^th September – Friday	Quiz Night at St Andrew’s Church Hall starting at 7pm. 15TL donation includes supper and will be for the church funds.For further information or to book please contact Joan Standing on 0533 847 1022.
20^th September – Saturday	The Food Lodge, Çatalköy. Moroccan Night – Buffet Dinner at 55TL, entertainment with belly dancing…. Limited places, tickets available at the Food Lodge.For further information tel: 0533 839 8764 or info@foodlodge.org.
21^st September – Sunday	Veni Vici in Lapta will be Cooking Pasta for Tulips. Minimum of 500 and hopefully up to 1000 pasta dishes will be cooked between 11am and 11pm. 5 pasta dishes to choose from including one vegetarian for 15TL, of which 10TL will be donated to Tulips. Eat in or take away….DJ Mike will be providing music in the evening…Go along with friends or as a team and help Veni Vici to achieve their goal. Who knows it may be a world record.
22^nd September – Monday	Dogankoy Church will be holding a talk by Richard Chamberlain about his photograph in Cyprus 1954 and 2014 starting at 7pm…. There will be an opportunity to obtain Richard’s 2015 Calendar and his previous and new books….A donation towards the upkeep of the church would be appreciated…Places are limited so please reserve a seat through Paula Shirley on 0533 830 3256 or by email to paula.shirley@hotmail.com
24^th September – Wednesday	Children in Need Foundation Supper Club at The Garden (opposite Colony Hotel)….
