Minister Nami evaluated the latest stage reached in the Cyprus negotiations with the solution Initiative
Foreign Minister Özdil Nami evaluated the latest stage reached in the Cyprus negotiations at the meeting held on demand of the Turkish Cypriot Non-Governmental Solution Initiative.
The meeting took place at the conference hall of the Ministry and the Solution Initiative conveyed their views about the latest stage reached in the Cyprus negotiation process to Minister Nami.
Major General Kristin Lund of Norway assumed
her duties as Force Commander of the UNFICYP
Major General Kristin Lund of Norway officially assumed 
her duties as Force Commander of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) at a ceremony held in the United Nations Protected Area.
Major General Lund succeeds Major General Chao Liu of China who served as UNFICYP Force Commander from February 2011 to August 2014.
CTP has become full member of the Socialist International Council
CTP has become full member of the Socialist International Council. 
Application of CTP, full membership was approved at the meeting of the Socialist International Council which was organized in Mexico City last month. Secretary General of the Socialist International – Luis Ayala stated the decision about full membership in a letter he sent to the Prime Minister – Özkan Yorgancıoğlu on 25 July 2014.
As it is known CTP made the first contact with the Socialist International in 1995 and has had a place in the world socialist family since 2008 with advisory member status.
