2014 – TFR Summer Venue	The Foreign Residents in the TRNC (TFR) have now moved to their summer venue at Sea Point in Lapta. Why not go along and find out about this Group at their get-together (Stammtisch) from 4pm every Friday and meet some of the existing members from 19 different countries.
16^th May – Friday	The Snakebite Roadshow, headed by Barry Snakes, will be launched at Almond Holiday Village… Doors open at 8.30pm. Music starts at 9pm… Tickets 15TL from Almond Holiday Village and Bestseller Bookstore, Alsancak.
16^th May – Friday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be having an evening talk by John Hughes-Wilson “The Myths of World War I”. This will be at The Mountain View Hotel at 7.30pm. 16^th May – Friday	Concert at Bellapais Abbey in aid of KAR at 8pm… Pianists Demet Alkan and Fikri Toros and classical guitarist Ahmet Sonmezler and Soprano Ayse Guler Akin… Music by 16 different composers… Admission by programme for 35TL donation per person, available at KAR Office, Best Seller Bookshops, Cafe Dukkan, Kybele Restaurant or at the door on the night.
18^th May – Sunday	Soyz Bar, Catalkoy will be holding their summer opening with live music starting from 4pm. Mezes, Chicken and Meat Doner and fruit for 20TL per person. 19^th May – Monday	NCCCT Bingo at the Pine Bay Hotel, Alsancak starting at 8pm. The rollover jackpot stands at 1,200TL, well worth trying to win.35TL for a book of bingo sheets and a mini Mars or Snickers Bar for winning lines or a house and of course there is the free raffle as well. 21^st May – Wednesday	St Andrews Church DVD Sale – The DVD club run by John Dyer is closing down and the collection of Videos and DVDs are to be sold. So come and buy your personal copy of your favourite film or programme from 10am until Noon….The Shop will be open on Sunday mornings after service as usual until the summer break at the end of June. Wednesday Morning Coffee and Gift Shop will start again in the Autumn.

24th May – Saturday	BRS Blood Donor Day at Girne State Hospital.
24^th May – Saturday	Royal British Legion, Kyrenia Branch have organised a cricket match which will be held at the 20 Temmuz Stadium in Girne, starting at 10am. The teams will be RBL, Pakistani 11, and 2 teams from the Cyprus Cricket Association in the south – the Moufflons and the Episkopi Lions. To see more about this event click here

24^th May – Saturday	Two Castles and an Abbey Trail Ultra event from Kantara Castle to Bellapais. The run starts at 5am from Kantara covering 80kms with top trail runners from 17 different countries taking part.The team would welcome volunteers to provide support and have said the best places to watch the runners are Alevkaya, Buffavento and at the finish at Bellapais….For more information click here.

6^th to 15^th June	38. TRNC International Fair at Ataturk Culture Park, Nicosia. The fair will be open between 7pm and 11pm on Sundays and Thursdays and between 7pm and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. There will also be many social and cultural activities during the fair.
7th June – Saturday	Black Olive Cafe – Glastonvicki. Tickets will be on sale soon. 25TL for adults with 10TL in advance. 12.50TL for children 12-17 years with 5TL in advance. 18^th June – Wednesday	Children in Need Foundation are holding a Supper Club event at the Colony Garden and have arranged for a return visit of the popular Emperors of Soul.
